Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of greetings to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of the Federative Republic of Brazil on the occasion of Brazil's National Day.

According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty expressed his heartfelt sentiments and best wishes to Brazil for further progress, development, and the realization of aspirations in various spheres. His Majesty also conveyed his hopes for the bilateral relations of cooperation and partnership to expand and grow, serving mutual interests.
