His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, have been congratulated by the Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam on the occasion of the International Day of Charity, annually observed worldwide on September 5.
Al Musallam expressed his appreciation and gratitude to HM the King for HM’s directives to support charity work, commending the keenness of the government on strengthening international humanitarian efforts and relief projects for all peoples, through the initiatives and programmes adopted by Team Bahrain to consolidate the values of human solidarity, based on authentic national fundamentals and Islamic principles.
He also congratulated His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), on the occasion, praising the RHF’s vital role in delivering aid and implementing development programmes in charitable projects, adding to Bahrain’s success stories in this field.
The speaker also congratulated Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, Secretary General of the RHF on the occasion of the International Day of Charity, praising his dedicated efforts to promoting charitable humanitarian work, and harnessing all capabilities in order to provide comprehensive care, and launch quality relief programmes for countries and peoples.
