Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to Sanae Takaichi, Prime Minister of Japan on winning the elections.

According to Oman News Agency, in the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his congratulations and best wishes of success to the Prime Minister in leading her country's government and people towards further progress. His Majesty also wished the partnership and cooperation relations between Oman and Japan further prosperity.
