Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania, focusing on the bilateral relations between the two nations.
According to Oman News Agency, the message was delivered during an audience at Al Baraka Palace with Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania. The minister conveyed the Tanzanian President's greetings and best wishes for the good health and success of His Majesty the Sultan, along with her hopes for further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.
In response, His Majesty conveyed his greetings and best wishes for happiness and success to President Hassan and expressed his hopes for the continued development and growth of the Tanzanian people.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, and Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office. From the Tanzanian side, attendees included Maulidah Hassan, Advisor to the President, and Abdullah Abas Kilima, Ambassador of Tanzania to Oman.
