The occupation army spokesman said in a brief statement, “Overnight, army forces took measurements of the homes of three families in the town of Urif, south of Nablus. They planned and carried out the Eli settlement operation on June 20, 2023, which led to the killing of four settlers and the injury of others.”
The occupation authorities claimed that "three Palestinians carried out the shooting in two different places inside a gas station in the Eli settlement."
The occupation army had previously informed the family of the martyr Khaled Sabah, from the town of Ourif, of its intention to demolish the house in which he lived, according to what was stated in a statement.
The occupation army said, "Al-Sabah and another attacker carried out a shooting attack on June 20 at a gas station and a restaurant near the Eli settlement."
The occupation forces had raided the town of Urif in the Nablus District following the operation, and stormed the homes of the perpetrators of the “Eli” operation, the martyrs Muhannad Faleh Abdullah Shehadeh (26 years old) and Khaled Mustafa Abdul Latif Sabah (24 years old), and carried out an engineering survey of the homes
