Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, on Thursday received at Dar Al-Fatwa, Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa. Following the meeting, Ambassador Moussa said: 'I was honored to meet His Eminence and I informed him of what is happening in Gaza and its impact on Lebanon. We also talked about the southern Lebanon front.' Ambassador Moussa added: 'We discussed the importance of restoring momentum for the presidential file, and agreed on its importance and the need to speedily address this dossier because the challenges ahead are great for Lebanon and the entire region. Hence, it is a priority for Lebanon to deal with its internal files in preparation for facing these challenges.' Source: National news agency - Lebanon
