Muscat: Oman Golf Association today unveiled the schedule of Oman’s hosting the Asian Tour, to be held as part of the International Series. As many as 132 international players will compete at the Asian Tour, which will be held from 22 to 25 February in Muscat.
HH Sayyid Azzan bin Qais Al Said said that the International Series helped promote tourism sports in the Sultanate of Oman, with Al Mouj Golf grounds serving as venues for major world championships.
Meanwhile, Munthir bin Salim Al Barwani, Chairman of Oman Golf Association, said that 65 players will qualify for the International Series to opt for the pricy trophy, valued at $2 million, which will be distributed to the top three winners.
