Muscat: The Executive body of Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) today held its fourth meeting of the year (2024), during which it reviewed projects for the new academic year (2025) and discussed internal accreditation reports on its programmes. The meeting, chaired by OMSB Executive President Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Ajmi, also looked into changes made to specialized training programmes and reviewed the list of OMSB graduates for Academic Year 2023/2024. According to Oman News Agency, the executive body's agenda included a comprehensive evaluation of the new projects set for the upcoming academic year. Discussions also centered around the findings of recent internal accreditation reports, which are critical for maintaining and enhancing the quality of the board's educational offerings. The meeting further addressed modifications to existing specialized training programmes, ensuring they align with evolving medical education standards. Additionally, the executive body took the opportunity to review and appro ve the list of graduates for the 2023/2024 academic year, marking a significant milestone for the OMSB.
