PM Shtayyeh discusses bolstering cooperation with EU representative

RAMALLAH, Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh discussed today with the representative of the European Union, Kühn von Burgsdorff, strengthening cooperation and supporting projects in the field of renewable energy.

During a meeting in Ramallah, Shtayyeh and Burgsdorff discussed the national priorities to be focused on in European aid for the next year.

For his part, Shtayyeh thanked the European Union, for its continued political and financial support to Palestine.

They also discussed financing the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees “UNRWA” as well as enhancing the financial sustainability of the UN agency, which provides services to millions of Palestinian refugees.

The Prime Minister noted that the features of the next Israeli government show a lot of aggression and more violence against the Palestinian people, calling on the European Union to take a position from a government that includes terrorists and settlers residing illegally on the lands of the Palestinian state.
