RAMALLAH, President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated today King Charles III on the occasion of his accession to the throne as King of the United Kingdom.
In a cable of congratulations, the President expressed his hope to work with King Charles III and the UK government to end the Israeli occupation of our land, our people and our holy sites, so that everyone could live in freedom and dignity in a just peace in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy.
The President wished King Charles III health and happiness, and his country and people further progress and prosperity.
