Six Palestinians wounded during clashes with Israeli occupation forces in Jenin and four in Beita

Six Palestinians were injured, one seriously, early today during clashes with Israeli forces in the occupied northern West Bank city of Jenin and four others in Beita, near Nablus, according to Palestinian security and medical sources.

Security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces and undercover units raided Jenin’s industrial area zone sparking intense clashes with Palestinian youths.

The soldiers opened live fire at the Palestinians injuring one seriously in the belly who was rushed to a hospital in the city of Nablus, while the others were shot in the leg, stomach, and hand.

Meanwhile, four other Palestinians were injured early today when attacked by Israeli soldiers at Jabal Sabih in Beita, south of Nablus, according to Ahmad Jibril, director of the Red Crescent emergency center in Nablus.

He said his crews treated four injuries from beating, two of them were taken to hospitals and the other two were first detained by the soldiers then released to the Red Crescent at a checkpoint near Nablus.

Palestinians have been waging daily protest activities at the site against Israeli plans to build a settlement on Jabal Sabih. Five Palestinians were shot and killed by soldiers during these protests and hundreds others were injured.
