Israeli army hit youth with rubber bullet in eye during Ramallah protest

RAMALLAH, Israeli army forces Saturday night shot a Palestinian young man in his eye with a rubber coated steel bullet during protests at the northern entrance of the city of al-Bireh.

The ministry of health said in a press release the man was transferred to the Palestine Medical complex in the city of Ramallah, describing his injury as critical.

Since the announcement made by US president Donald Trump recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and plans to transfer the embassy from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv, Palestinians have observed days of rage to express rejection of this move.
