Israeli forces detain 15 Palestinians in West Bank, Jerusalem

RAMALLAH, � Israeli forces detained in overnight and early Wednesday raids 15 Palestinians, including a member of the legislative council, from across the West Bank and East Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

It said Israeli soldiers detained a Palestinian in the Ramallah area, in addition to two others from Hebron.

Three more Palestinians were detained in the Bethlehem area, including a 15-year-old boy.

Meanwhile, nine Palestinians were detained in the Jerusalem area, including Ahmad Attoun, a lawmaker from Jerusalem who was detained at his home of exile in Ramallah and taken in for interrogation. The eight will be released under certain sets of conditions, noted PPS.
