Mohamed bin Zayed receives Indian Foreign Minister

WAM Abu Dhabi, Mar 13th, 2013 (WAM) — His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today received Indian Foreign Minister, Salman Khurshid, who is currently visiting the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the visiting minister and discussed the bilateral relations between the UAE and India and ways of enhancing them in various fields in the best interest of the two friendly countries.

The meeting reviewed the existing cooperation between the two sides and emphasised on the importance of continuous coordination and consultation between the two friendly countries, in the light of Keenness of the leadership in both countries on upgrading the existing ties.

The two sides exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest. They also tackled the latest regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended by H. H Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s court and Indian Ambassador to UAE M K Lokesh.
