Mohammed bin Rashid attends graduation ceremony

WAM Dubai, Jan 8th, 2013 (WAM) — The Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, today attended the graduation ceremony of 22nd batch of Dubai Medical College (DMC) and the 17th batch of Dubai Pharmacy College at Grand Hyatt Dubai hotel.

The ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, a number of ministers, dignitaries and educational figures in the country.

During the event, Sheikh Maktoum honoured the top five graduates from each college and five outstanding doctors who had graduated from Dubai Pharmacy College.

Posing for photos with the graduates, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his happiness for seeing this great number of Emirati graduates, stressing that the education is the cornerstone for building this dear nation.

He also wished them more successes to reach the highest standards in order to serve their country and community with their knowledge and science.

Sheikh Mohammed also lauded the efforts of Hajj Saeed bin Ahmed Al Lootah, the Founder and Chairman of both colleges, which have been graduating Emirati girls for more than 27 years.
