President returns home

WAM Al Ain, Mar 02, 2013 (WAM)–President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan returned home this afternoon, following a state visit to Turkmenistan at the invitation of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

During the visit, Sheikh Khalifa and Berdimuhamedov held the talks related to the ties of co-operation and friendship between the two countries and also exchanged views on a number of mutual issues.

After the end of the official visit, the UAE President spent a number of days on a private visit. .

Sheikh Khalifa was received at arrival by the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H. H. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative, His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, H. H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, H. H. Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, H. H. Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, H. H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, H. H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H. H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Presidential Aviation Authority, H. H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, H. H. Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, a number of other Sheikhs and senior officials.

The UAE President was accompanied by H. H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Eastern Region, H. H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, Mohammed Habroush Al Suwaidi, Adviser to the President, Ahmed Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, a number of other Sheikhs and senior officials.
