Muscat: Under the auspices of Sayyid Khalifa bin Said Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Supreme Court, fifty-nine heads of primary and appeal courts in the Sultanate of Oman completed the Najiz Programme.
According to Oman News Agency, the Royal Academy of Management (RAM), in collaboration with the Supreme Judicial Council, developed the programme to enhance the skills necessary for court leaders with adaptive leadership responsibilities. The programme aims to impact the effectiveness of the judiciary system positively. Dr. Fathiya Abdullah Al Rashdi, Vice Chairman of Programme Affairs at RAM, explained that the programme equips court heads with tools to enhance institutional performance and judicial procedures. Participants engaged with experts in judicial administration, sharing experiences and gaining insights into global practices to strengthen public confidence in the system.
The Najiz Programme spanned three days and was an enriching experience for the participants. Court heads highlighted the programme’s role in strengthening leadership capabilities and expanding knowledge of modern judicial practices. The programme aligns with the national vision of fostering a more efficient judiciary system.
Dr. Saif bin Abdullah Al Hosni noted that participation in the Najiz Programme is part of the Supreme Judicial Council’s commitment to developing the skills of its personnel. The initiative reflects ongoing cooperation between RAM and the Supreme Judicial Council.
Dr. Hamad Al Jahwary expressed his honor in participating alongside esteemed court heads and skilled trainers. He emphasized the programme’s benefits in gaining insights, exchanging ideas, and refining judicial concepts, contributing to enhanced judicial procedures.
