Six deaths, 1118 new cases and 455 recoveries from coronavirus in Palestine – Health Minister

RAMALLAH, Six people have died of the novel coronavirus pandemic in Palestine, 1118 others were infected by the disease – 888 in the West Bank in the last 24 hours and 230 in Jerusalem in the last 48 hours – and 455 have recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

She said in the daily report on the Coronavirus pandemic that three deaths were recorded in the West Bank, and three others in the Jerusalem area.

The new corona cases were distributed as follows: 162 in Hebron, 68 in Nablus, 50 in Bethlehem, 33 in Qalqilya, 190 in Ramallah area, 105 in Jenin, 15 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, one in Tubas, 25 in Salfit, 30 in Tulkarm, and 79 in the Gaza Strip, in addition to 230 cases in Jerusalem and area villages.

Of the recoveries, 200 were in the Hebron district, eight in Tulkarm, 114 in Bethlehem, 10 in Tubas, six in Salfit, 60 in Gaza, and 57 in Jerusalem.

Alkaila said 39 patients are currently getting treatment from the disease in hospitals while 10 patients are on ventilators.
