UNRWA spokesman in Gaza, Adnan Abu Hasna, thanked the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for the initiative to provide support to the school and to the international organization’s effort.
He said the partnership will add a boost to the school and to thousands of students.
Last December, the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and UNRWA, signed an extension of the agreement to support the school for the third year in a row.
The Beit Lahia facility hosts two elementary schools: one for boys and one co-ed. It serves 2,814 pupils.
