Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued Royal Decree No. 45/2026 on the ratification of an agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the Republic of Belarus on establishing a joint committee for cooperation and investment, signed in Minsk on 19 May 2025.

According to Oman News Agency, Article (1) of the decree ratifies the agreement between Oman and Belarus, as attached to the decree. This agreement aims to enhance cooperative efforts and investment opportunities between the two nations through the establishment of a joint committee.

Article (2) of the decree specifies that the decree is to be published in the Official Gazette and is to be enforced from its date of issue. This move signifies a step forward in strengthening bilateral relations and fostering economic collaboration.
